Location

Photo of the Ewing Annexe. The team is based in the University of Dundee. We are situated on the first floor of the Ewing Annexe Building; the University's Disability Support Centre is on the ground floor. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible; the first floor is not. If you're coming to visit, please let us know in advance of any specific access requirements.

Alternatively, you may arrive at the Tower Building. In here is the main reception desk for the University; the Tower Building is also the usual location of SDT workshops in Dundee. This building is set in grounds on the north side of the Perth Road, and is visually prominent as the tallest building on campus.

Getting to Dundee

By Train

Trains serve Dundee station direct from most major UK cities, including Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Bristol and Plymouth.

Our office is around 10 minutes walk from Dundee station (see the maps or contact us for detailed directions!), or a short taxi ride.

By Bus

Scottish Citylink, Megabus and National Express coaches connect Dundee Bus Station direct from many major UK cities. Our office is around 20 minutes walk from Dundee Bus station (see the maps or contact us for detailed directions), or a short taxi ride.

Local buses: any Travel Dundee, Strathtay or Stagecoach service that runs along Perth Road will pass close to the office. Ask to get off at the University's Tower Building.

By Car

From the South, West, North and North West (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Inverness), follow the M90 or A9 to Perth. From Perth follow the A90 to Dundee. As you approach Dundee, take the A85 signposted City Centre and Tay Bridge. Follow this road past the airport, under the Tay Railway bridge, until you reach the Riverside Roundabout.
From Aberdeen and the North East, follow the A90 to Dundee, then the A972 and A92 folowing signs for the Tay Bridge until you reach the city centre with the docks on your left. Keep straight on past the Tay Road Bridge access road on your left to reach the Riverside Roundabout.
From Fife (Kirkcaldy, St Andrews), follow the A92 across the Tay Bridge to Dundee, forking left at the end of the bridge to reach the Riverside Roundabout.

Then, from the Riverside Roundabout:

Follow the A991 (A923) Coupar Angus road, go straight on at the first set of traffic lights and turn left at the second set of lights to enter Nethergate.
Take the second right turn into South Tay Street (signposted Dundee Rep Theatre) and keep on this street, round a sharp left-hand bend into West Port.
Take the second left after this bend into Park Place, signposted to the Dental Hospital.
Take the first right into Cross Row, and the Ewing Annexe is the second turning on the left. There is limited car parking right outside the building, off Cross Row.

NB: Parking permits are required for on-campus parking - please contact us in advance to arrange a permit.

By Air

Dundee is linked directly with London City Airport by scheduled flights provided by ScotAirways. Dundee airport is a 10 minute taxi ride from our office.

Domestic and international flights are available to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen airports.

By Taxi

If you come by taxi, it may be helpful to ask for "the Ewing Annexe, behind the Dental School" which should help most drivers.
